Welcome everybody in this section, we have a fully dedicated group of videos. For those of you who use WordPress for your website now, WordPress and convert kit luckily worked really well together. And once again, this set of videos is for you only if you're already using WordPress, or of course, if you plan to use WordPress.
This is obviously still relevant to you, but just to say and to be clear, if you have a website that is not on WordPress, this is not something that you need to integrate and. This is for people that have already existing things on WordPress. Okay. With that, what are we going to learn? How to do a convert kit?
As I said in WordPress, really work well together, which is great because WordPress power is something like 95% of the internet. It's a very powerful platform. It has its quirks and idiosyncrasies, but that's okay. We will work through those. But what I will be showing you what to do in this set of videos is how to add a landing page to your.
Already existing WordPress sites. So rather than having to use either convert kits domain that they provide you. Rather than that, you can just use your existing domain. So let's say I have a WordPress site@carsongrady.com. You will be unbelievably showing you how to make it so you can have Kirsten grady.com/guide be on your WordPress site, actually show a convert kit landing page that you build.
So the good news is if you already have existing landing pages or any landing pages that you've built in the future, you can easily add them to your WordPress site and I'll show you how to do all of that. The other thing I'll show you how to do is the way how you can add forms. Both like inline, say at the, in the middle of a post, a blog post, for example, I'll also show you how to add popups.
This is a great way to grow your email list and to really catch people's attention. I'll show you how to do that. I also show you how to add by default an opt-in form. I started at general joined my news. At the bottom of every single one of your posts, that might be something that could be interesting to you.
And as I said, I'll show you how to do all of that. And the final thing is a bit more advanced thing, but it could be interesting. And it's a way of tracking subscribers. Now, when we get to that video, obviously I'll describe how that all works, but at a high level, what it means is. You are able to set up your convert kit and your WordPress site to be able to know if somebody has visited a page.
So just a quick scenario, let's say you're doing a sales cycle. What you can do is not only can you click track who clicks a link to the sales page, but you can also actually track on the page where WordPress will say this subscriber. Saw this page and they can be tagged and then they could be followed up in a more specific way.
So that's a really powerful feature that is advanced. And we'll get through each of these separate topics in separate videos. And once again, I'm, I'm excited to show you how WordPress and convert code work together. They're really powerful. And let's jump into.
